My name is Padma Bareddy, and I am excited to introduce myself as I begin my first day as a student assistant at MCC , ECS (Evidence for Climate Solutions) group.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Data Science for Public Policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. (have moved to Germany in August 2024)
I come from India. Although my roots are from South India (culturally very different from other parts of India), I have lived most of my childhood and younger life in western part of India i.e. Mumbai and Pune in Maharashtra state.
I have a background in computer engineering, public policy, and hands-on experience in data-driven and action-oriented research within the public policy domain. I have had an opportunity to travel and work across different states in India, including some of the extremely remote areas in central, eastern and northeast of India.
