The pull request contains the latest changes to EDGE-Transport and the realization edge_esm of the transport module. EDGE-T alternative decarbonization scenarios are available. The market of LDVs updates endogenously. Bounds on synthetic fuel use and biofuels are included for transportation.

The following new config parameters are included:

  • cm_shSynTrans, sets minimum shares of synthetic fuels in transportation liquids in CCU/on by 2035 (with fade in).
  • c_shBioTrans, sets maximum shares of biofuels in transportation liquids from 2025 onwards.
  • c_shGreenH2, sets minimum shares of green hydrogen in the hydrogen production in REMIND starting from 2030 (with fade-in).
